As mothers we are always on the go. We don’t stop. And even when we do, we are still constantly thinking of our to-do list.
Especially when it comes to getting results with working out and exercise, adequate levels of rest and sleep cannot be underestimated. Proper rest and recovery time helps to provide mental health, hormonal balance, and muscular recovery.

I have always been into health and fitness, but after having my daughter my priorities shifted. I am not working out nearly as much as I used to, but I have found a balance with staying active and being a healthy and present mother. And that to me is everything!

The rain is not stopping in Toronto, so we have to take our cardio indoors! How is everyone staying active in this wet weather?

They are relatively inexpensive and help to work out some impossible knots, as well as also being a good support for various exercises (including core exercises).

I like to change up the type of activity I do - from yoga to home workouts - but I do try and make it to the gym throughout the week. My love for fitness and health stemmed from lifting weights in the gym and it has remained a constant in my routine.
Why Climb?!
It's our last day in Mexico so we finished our morning jog climbing stairs; it is widely regarded as one of the most efficient and effective cardio and strength building workouts you can do. It's definitely not recommended for the little ones, but if you’re willing to put in the work, it provides the results! Better yet, moms can do this exercise at home!

Bellies Inc. Certified
This past weekend I completed The Bellies Inc. Instructor Certification Course that allows me to be more specialized in core rehabilitation and pelvic floor health (yes, this also includes correcting diastasis recti).

Acai Bowls taste like ice cream, look like ice cream and are what breakfast dreams are made up! I'm on my way to a 2-day course with Bellies Inc. to learn more about core rehabilitation and pelvic floor health, so opted for an Acai Bowl from Bolt Fresh Bar for a healthy meal on the go!
