With exercise aside, even minor parenting tasks like carrying your diaper bag and running after your toddler can make your body stiff and achy. For this reason, the advantages of stretching range from improved posture to stress relief.

I like to change up the type of activity I do - from yoga to home workouts - but I do try and make it to the gym throughout the week. My love for fitness and health stemmed from lifting weights in the gym and it has remained a constant in my routine.
Why Climb?!
It's our last day in Mexico so we finished our morning jog climbing stairs; it is widely regarded as one of the most efficient and effective cardio and strength building workouts you can do. It's definitely not recommended for the little ones, but if you’re willing to put in the work, it provides the results! Better yet, moms can do this exercise at home!

Bellies Inc. Certified
This past weekend I completed The Bellies Inc. Instructor Certification Course that allows me to be more specialized in core rehabilitation and pelvic floor health (yes, this also includes correcting diastasis recti).
Acai Bowls
Acai Bowls taste like ice cream, look like ice cream and are what breakfast dreams are made up! I'm on my way to a 2-day course with Bellies Inc. to learn more about core rehabilitation and pelvic floor health, so opted for an Acai Bowl from Bolt Fresh Bar for a healthy meal on the go!

Perfect Your Pushup
A lot of moms tell me they don't have time or money for the gym, so home workouts are their saving grace. Body-weight exercises like squats, lunges and especially pushups are all great exercises for mommies to do at home!

Mommy survived an intense yoga class today (definite love/hate relationship) - thank you @chi_junky. I am a newbie when it comes to yoga, but I've noticed that in addition to my gym and home workouts, yoga has not only improved my flexibility and strength, but it continues to teach me to calm my mind in a chaotic world! And as a mom, sometimes everyday can feel like complete chaos.
