Peace, Love and … Pampers!

Mamas, it’s official - we’ve just partnered with Pampers! I’ll start by saying it truly does feel like the perfect fit because we used Pampers with Harper and it only makes sense that we would go with the same trusted brand for our new baby, Noa. There are so many reasons why I would consider us a ‘Pampers family’ from the get-go and it goes beyond just the diapers and wipes themselves. Read on to learn more about why we are so loyal to this brand!

Quality and Safety

As mothers we all want the best for our little bundle of joy and this means using quality and safe products. After doing some thorough research on Pampers, I learned that Pampers diapers, wipes and pants are all made from ingredients that are tested and proven to be safe. The ingredients used are common in most diapers and wipes and are used safely by millions of babies around the world every day … including our first child, Harper.. In fact, did you know that Pampers Sensitive  Wipes are as mild to the skin as a washcloth and water? They can also be safely used on other baby body parts, including their cute little faces!

I was relieved, but not surprised, that at Pampers and P&G, more than 700 scientists and professionals work with leading health experts, such as paediatricians and paediatric dermatologists, to ensure their baby products meet all safety and regulatory requirements around the world!

Diaper Duty

Let’s face it - no one really loves being on diaper duty! It had been a good few years since Harper was a little baby, so my husband and I somewhat forgot about the newborn phase, including being on never-ending diaper duty! Little Miss Harper definitely has fun with changing diapers.

The good news is that we found that Pampers is reliable when it comes to absorbency. Leaks are never fun! We also loved that Pampers diapers have a line on the diaper that turns from yellow to blue letting you know when it may be time for a change. This helped us big time with Harper and we know it will be a game changer for baby Noa.

Here is a quick checklist to help prevent leaks:

  • Start by making sure you choose the right diaper size
  • Ask yourself, “does it fit properly?”
  • Ensure the tape is fastened symmetrically on the coloured landing zone
  • Don’t leave the leg cuffs tucked inside
  • The diaper should fit snug just under the belly button

There’s More to Pampers

You might think that it’s all about the diapers and wipes, but I was really pleased by some of the other things that Pampers is doing for the world our little ones are growing up in. This includes reducing environmental impact (50% reduction in materials used for diapers over the past 20 years), being smarter about manufacturing and helping communities thrive through local initiatives such as their work with the Graham’s Foundation for Prematurity Awareness Month in November.. What’s more, Pampers is a long-standing partner with Unicef. You can read more about their partnership here.

Here We Go Again!

Besides Pampers already being known as the #1 choice for moms in Canada, it was always top of the list in our household. We used Pampers with Harper through every stage of her development (including training pants) and it only feels natural to start this same journey again with baby Noa only five years later.
