Let The Good Times "Stroll"
When we started preparing for the arrival of baby #2, we realized we didn’t have any baby stuff and actually had to buy everything all over again. It had been 5 years since we had Harper and because we did not know if we could have another one, we had donated pretty much everything! When the time had come to buy some of the most important items, which included an infant car seat and a stroller, I took the opportunity to really do my research.
Even Better The Second Time Around
Five years ago with Harper I had used the UPPAbaby VISTA stroller and loved it so much. The second time around with Noa (and even after doing a ton of test runs with other strollers), we opted for the UPPAbaby set all over again! It was no surprise that the UPPAbaby VISTA, Bassinet and MESA infant car seat came out on top on all accounts.
They See Me Strollin’
Going from 1 to 2 children, we needed flexibility, but of course we wanted reliability. We truly loved the UPPAbaby VISTA with Harper because it was simply just easy. It was also so compatible with our city lifestyle. When we compared it to other strollers on the market, others fell short when it came to fulfilling our multiple needs.
The VISTA offers the Bassinet for baby Noa to nap while on the go, but also has the PiggyBack Ride-Along Board (sold separately), which allows for Harper to be included in all the stroller adventures too. She absolutely loves it!
The VISTA makes everything from grocery runs to Queen St. window shopping a breeze. It effortlessly maneuverers busy city streets! What’s more, the robust wheels on this stroller can handle bumpy sidewalks and the most uneven terrain. Trust me, this is a must when you have a new baby in tow. Never wake a sleeping baby. Ever.
Another one of my fave features of the VISTA that a lot of other strollers couldn’t offer was the large easy-access basket below. Mamas, I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about when you need all the space in the world to carry whatever it is you need to carry – from your diaper bag to toys to books to snacks! Other strollers had itty-bitty baskets that could barely fit my purse.
Infant Car Seat for the Win!
Getting a car seat was one of the most important tasks on my list before actually having the baby. I wanted a safe infant car seat and one that was convenient and not too heavy. The MESA infant car seat attaches directly to the VISTA and it’s easily portable and safe too. There’s also no need for any extra adaptors either! What’s more, the MESA has a unique SMARTSecure System that combines auto-retracting connectors and a visual indicator that turns from red to green, providing an installation that is both simple and accurate. How amazing!
#UbFamily
I’m usually one to say I’m up to try new things, but this time around opting for the UPPAbaby VISTA again for baby #2 was a no brainer. It delivers on so many levels and its ease of use makes it one of the best out there in my opinion. Not to mention, it’s one of the more stylish and sleeker strollers on the market. I know this stroller will be with us for a few years and I can’t wait to share more pics of all the places it goes with us to further prove it’s functionality. In the meantime, if you need me you can find me strolling the streets of Toronto with my two girls, Harper and Noa!
