My Healthy-ish Inspired Holiday Faves!

Hey you, last minute shoppers! This post is for you.

As a last minute shopper myself, I am hoping that this post comes in handy (especially for you Toronto mamas)! I know there isn’t a lot of time, but not to worry. You got this! I’ve put together a few of my faves that you can still get if you run out to the stores this weekend. Take a deep breath and read on.

PS - this post is NOT SPONSORED!

THE FUTURE IS FEMALE TEE. This tee never gets old IMO. Hit up the Drake General Store and grab a couple for your mom, sister, friend. Psst, it also comes in kiddie sizes. Best gift one woman can give another.

SAJE 24/7. I don’t know one person who doesn’t like Saje. I could literally live in this store and I know that if I got a gift from here, I would be over the moon. Check out their holiday sets for an easy gift for a loved one!

SUSHI SOCKS. These are the cutest and you can buy them at The Hudson’s Bay. They are IN store and make a perfect stocking stuffer for your sushi lover hubby!

MOM LEGGINGS. Okay, so they aren’t actually considered ‘mom’ leggings, but the Align Pant are my fave pair from Lululemon that I swear by. I also love Lolë leggings - the Sierra Edition Leggings are my go to! From Barre class to grocery store, they are both amazing. If you aren’t gonna get them for yourself, get a pair for your bestie or sis-in-law.

WHAT’S SUPP … LEMENTS?! I’m a big fan of sharing health products I love, so when it comes to the holidays why not gift someone you care about with some of your fave supplements?! Collagen is top of my wish list! I am loving Genuine Health’s new Clean Collagen product. You can get it at most health food stores in the city. Try mixing it in your coffee - yum!

A BOOK IS BEST. Whenever in doubt, go for a book! I love Indigo for pretty much everything and have recommended this book to mamas who have little girls who are Harper’s age. It’s called “Not One Damsel in Distress” and it is a great book to empower our young female leaders.

GIFT GOOD FOOD. I’ve always loved the idea of giving friends and relatives a gift certificate to a healthy restaurant or cafe in the city. It gives them a chance to try out some of my go-tos like: Impact Kitchen and Sweat and Soda.

GIFT MORE GOOD FOOD. So if you think getting to a resto might be too hard for your mommy friend, consider gifting a meal prep delivery service. My fave in the city is Eat, Train. Live. You can check out the site and purchase a meal plan as a gift and have it delivered to their door come January! And if you’re aren’t into gifting food, I was once given a 6-month delivery subscription to FIJI Water and thought it was so unique. I thought of my friend every time I drank water at the gym. Brilliant.

FOR YOR BEAUTIFUL BESTIE! Treat your bestie to some goodies from The Detox Market. You can put together a cute little gift bag with everything from a body scrub to an all-natural moisturizer.

MERRY FITNESS. If your sister loves yoga, why not gift her with a one-month pass to her favourite studio in the city! This one takes zero effort and has maximum impact. A monthly membership or even a couple of classes at Toronto Yoga Mamas or Move Fitness is always a great pick!

FOR THOSE ACTIVE KIDDIES. We got Harper her second year of ski lessons this year, which we know she will love! She also asked Santa for roller blades or skates, so we are hitting up Canadian Tire this weekend to grab a pair! I’m all for gifts that support this girl’s active lifestyle! And if they aren’t into winter sports, but they are still movers and shakers, consider getting them something to support their summer activities like a new bike, scooter or soccer ball!

FOR THOSE ACTIVE ADULTS. Want a unique experience? Check out Pursuit OCR here in the city for a gift card or get them one to try rock climbing! Soul cycle is also another awesome option - it is definitely like no other spin studio out there! Always fun and always memorable!

THE GIFT OF TIME (AND TRACKING). I absolutely love my Fitbit Versa! I use it not only to track steps and sleep (which isn’t all that great), but also to monitor my monthly cycles and for reminders to meditate throughout the day. It’s the best gift you can give someone who is looking to get back on the health train in 2019 (aka everybody).

I know these are only a few suggestions, but hoping that these ideas got your creative juices flowing and you’re able to hit the mall running this weekend. Good luck!
