What does it mean to have it all?
I was asked this question last week and I had so much trouble answering it because my answer was wildly different than it was pre-motherhood. A few years ago I would’ve said a trip to Maldives coupled with a wardrobe of my dreams. Today, my answer is far from that.
We Sweat Together ... and Dine Together!
One thing I will never deny is my love for food! Yes, I make an effort to exercise effectively and yes, I do eat healthy - packing my meals and snacks when I go off to my full-time job. But sometimes, I need that break from the kitchen and need to enjoy some down time with girlfriends.
This is exactly why when I heard about President's Choice launching Babylicious that I had to get a bunch of mommy friends together to dine at one of the city's finest French restaurants.
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
How many of you are guilty of taking tons and tons of pics of your little ones only to have them sit on your phone or on your desktop for months (or years)? Okay, so I'm guilty of this too! I absolutely love taking pictures and I really should print them so that I can frame them or have a photo book in my family room that can be admired by guests.
This month you might also recognize some familiar faces in the latest issue of Today's Parent! We are so grateful to have made a small appearance in such a respected parenting magazine - thank you!!
What is Babylicious???
Finally, mothers don't have to suffer going to mediocre restaurants just because they are considered "baby friendly"; President's Choice is launching BABYLICIOUS, which is a dining experience that allows us mothers to enjoy high-quality restaurant food in the company of our little ones!

Meditation For The Modern Mama
I've been insanely busy with my full-time job, No Tummy Mommy and day-to-day mommy duties that I just need to stop and take a breather. I am now making a promise to myself to set aside 5 minutes a day to meditate ... and believe all mothers can relate and benefit from just a few minutes of meditation each day.

What Selfhood Means to Me ...
Selfhood to me involves stimulating myself mentally and physically. It's important to me to stay active and set an example for my daughter so she understands the benefits of exercise. Mentally, selfhood means continuing to allow myself time to learn and giving myself time to read about things that interest me and stimulate my brain.
