This can burn anywhere from 80-150 calories in 30 minutes depending on how large your house is. I live in a small condo, so I may not get the best bang for my buck! At least you know that while you are polishing those countertops, you are also staying on track to trim your waistline!
Preparing and cooking dinner
Sounds strange, but you can also burn close to 75 calories while preparing and cooking dinner in 30 minutes. Let's just hope your dinner doesn't include a whole lot of dessert because that will just defeat the purpose :)
Get some zzz's
Did you know that you still burn calories while you sleep. In a solid 8-hour sleep you can burn about 360 calories. With that said, make sure you are hitting the sack tonight!
Tidying toys
If the kids aren't helping and you are left to do the dirty work, you can burn a good 100 calories (or more if your kids are pretty messy) for just picking up and putting away toys in 30 minutes. My suggestion is you still get the kids to do it and you go burn the calories elsewhere!
