2026 Intentions: What I’m Inviting In (and What I’m Finally Letting Go)
Happy New Year, everybody!
January is a wonderful time to reflect and set intentions, but for me, 2026 didn’t arrive with a reset button. Life is still full, the days are still busy, and the work continues. But what has changed is my clarity. I know what I want to invite in this year, and what I’m no longer willing to carry with me.
2026 INS: What I’m Choosing More of
Fewer goals, bigger wins: I’m done spreading myself thin for the sake of feeling productive. This year is about focus. Fewer goals that actually matter. Wins that feel aligned, not rushed.
Lift heavy: Not for aesthetics. Not for punishment. But because strength grounds me. It reminds me of what my body can do, not what it needs to look like.
Daily self-care and mindfulness: Not the “perfect routine” kind. The realistic kind. Five minutes still counts. Presence still counts.
Prayer & reflection: Space to slow down. To listen instead of constantly asking. To reconnect with something bigger than my to-do list.
Long walks, daily: Movement without pressure. Thoughts without interruption. A reset I don’t need to earn.
Create > consume: More making. Less scrolling. More trusting of my own voice instead of borrowing everyone else’s.
Take micro risks: Not giant leaps—small, brave choices. Saying yes when it feels exciting. Saying no when it doesn’t.
Water your own grass: Because comparison has never grown anything beautiful in my life.
Unplugged time with my kids: Phones down. Attention up. Being there instead of just nearby.
Meaningful connections & friendships: Depth over proximity. Quality over quantity. Relationships that feel safe, supportive, and honest.
2026 OUTS: What I’m Leaving Behind
Fewer goals, bigger wins: I’m done spreading myself thin for the sake of feeling productive. This year is about focus. Fewer goals that actually matter. Wins that feel aligned, not rushed.
Speaking before listening: I want to understand, not just respond.
Comparing timelines: Mine is unfolding exactly how it’s meant to.
The “do it all” pressure: I don’t need to carry everything to prove anything.
Weak boundaries: Protecting my energy is not selfish - it’s necessary.
Overwhelm from chaos: Not everything deserves my attention.
Mindless scrolling: If it drains me, it doesn’t get my time.
Negative self-talk: I’m done being my own harshest critic.
Rushing with my kids: They don’t need a fast version of me. They need a present one.
Overcommitting: A full calendar doesn’t equal a full life.
Toxic energy: Peace is the priority.

If you’re stepping into 2026 feeling behind, overwhelmed, or unsure - this is your reminder: you don’t need to overhaul your life. You just need to decide what you’re no longer available for.
What are your ins and outs for this year?
