Local Love For Jill Yoga
I’m all for discovering new activewear and when I do, you better believe I will tell you about it. What’s more, when a brand is local to Toronto then it's really caught my attention.
I love supporting local Canadian brands especially those that promote a healthy lifestyle for the entire fam. Say hello to Jill Yoga activewear! Aside from being a Toronto brand (which I love), I was really drawn to all the vibrant and bold colors right off the bat. If you know me, you’ll notice that we lack a little color in our workout wardrobe, so this line really brought life to our closet! Seriously, if you look at previous pics you will notice a whole lot of black. Boring, I know ... but not anymore!
The pieces from Jill Yoga activewear are all affordable which makes sweating in style a little bit easier for the entire family. I should also mention that the clothing is comfortable and the quality is undeniable. I can't get over how darn cute and colourful the girls clothing line is. Plus, there really is just something about the Jill Yoga activewear that makes you feel empowered and confident … two things I want my daughter to feel every day of her life! In fact, a part of Jill Yoga’s mission statement is to focus on young girls feeling more comfortable and confident with themselves. How amazing!
Good news is that Jill Yoga can be found not just in Toronto, but in various department stores, such as Hudson’s Bay, and across Canada and even in the United States. But for all you mamas who like to shop virtually, they now have an online boutique! Be sure to check it out here.
But before you shop, I wanted to share the first workout routine we did in our Jill Yoga clothing. This one is a full-body circuit and you can get it done in 15 minutes!
Our Jill Yoga Inspired Workout
10 x Alternating Dumbbell Bicep Curls
15 x Step-Ups (each leg) with Dumbbell Shoulder Press
10 x Squat Jumps
15 x Bodyweight Squats
Rest 30s and repeat AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in 15 minutes.
Happy sweating ... and happy shopping, mamas!
