Tips To Keep Your Brand Consistent

Sometimes, we find it hard to stay consistent. We might have a business idea, but our vision is blurry. This is when we start experiencing problems. If the business doesn’t have a clearly-defined vision and mission, then how can our customers see worth and value in what we are doing? To help you stay consistent and stick to your goals, we decided to share a few tips that our social media managers find the most helpful!

  1. ESTABLISH YOUR VISION & MISSION

This might sound like the easiest step, but it is actually the hardest one. Most businesses lose their motivation and quit because they are unsure of what their vision is. There are questions that can help you define your vision & mission. For example, what is it that makes you happy in life? Or, if there is something you could do free just because you enjoy it, what would it be

  2. KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE

Another crucial step in growing your business and staying consistent is knowing your target audience. If you are unsure who your clients are, you will be unable to create effective ads/content/captions and business offers. You have to know your clients’ tastes, their age, where they prefer to shop and what their values are.

  3. DEFINE YOUR BRAND COLOURS AND FONTS

Based on your vision & mission and target audience, you can create your brand book. The brand book usually includes your logos, brand colours, and fonts that you use. If you are the owner of a children’s clothing store, you might want to have an easy-to-understand, fun and lively mission statement. The brand colours and fonts would also be playful, colourful and oriented towards a younger community. On the other side, if you are the owner of a wellness clinic, you might want to stick to neutral, peaceful tones and avoid bright, vivid colours. Almost all brands follow this strategy when creating brand books. For example, Lufthansa - one of the world’s largest airlines - uses blue and yellow as their corporate colours. The blue colour is associated with calmness and premium, whereas yellow with warmth and happiness.

  4. CREATE A CONTENT CALENDAR

To stay consistent, it is important to have a list of the pre-planned content ideas. For example, if you are a healthcare brand, you might want to write down upcoming health-related events/holidays in advance. This way, you will deliver relevant content to the audience and stay on top of things.
