Instagram Engagement Done Right

by Really Social

do you engage?

One of the key things you might be struggling with on Instagram is having to engage to gain more traction. You might have heard from Instagram Gurus and Instagram Coaches that engaging is a great way to gain engagement and grow organically on Instagram. Really Social can guarantee that this is not a myth! Engagement is our number one tip for all clients interested in growth.

To help you engage right, we are sharing our daily 45-minute engagement plan for Instagram success so you can test it yourself!

  1. 5 minutes/day: DMs

Reply to all DMs, and don’t forget to check the request folder too! It’s important to stay connected with your audience for them to know you’re present and active on socials.

  2. 5 minutes/day: Stories

View and engage with IG Stories by sending quick reactions or genuine comments. This way, people will be more likely to remember your account since they will be seeing your profile picture in their DM folder.

  3. 20 minutes/day: Engagement

List down 25-30 accounts with an audience similar to yours and genuinely engage with their content. We suggest you follow these accounts, so that you see their posts as soon as they publish something on Instagram. It will help you build genuine and loyal connections that guarantee constant follows & likes back.

  4. 10 minutes/day: Hashtags

Ensure you check hashtags from your niche and engage with the accounts that published in that hashtag category (sort by date posted, not by popularity!) You can engage with them either by sending a reaction to their story or leaving a comment under their latest post.

  5. 5 minutes/day: Comments

Before you finish engaging, reply to all comments under your last post. It will show others that you do not leave the comments unseen and take time to thank everyone who found your post engaging.
