Disneyland Part II: Harper Tells All!
There were just so many phenomenal moments to share from our Disneyland trip that I can’t help but want to share it all with you. I hope that you took a moment to read my first blog post on our visit because I share the real deal on doing Disneyland with a baby. If you missed it, you can read it here.
For those of you who are caught up, I decided to do a short second post primarily to share more pics that never made the gram, but to also give you the Disneyland rundown from Harper’s perspective. I started thinking about how important it is to hear what the kids really experienced because at the end of the day, that’s what truly matters. With that said, I asked Harper 10 simple questions about our vacation and now I’m sharing her unfiltered and unedited answers! Read on as Harper spills the beans on her take of our magical trip to Disneyland.
Q&A With Harper!
Mommy: What was your favourite ride at Disneyland? Why?
Harper: Guardians of the Galaxy because it went up and down. It was so scary!
Mommy: Tell me how it was staying at a hotel on the resort. Why did you love most?
Harper: We didn’t have to walk far! It had a water slide at the pool. That was the best!
Mommy: What did you like to eat at Disneyland and why?
Harper: I liked the chicken fingers at Goofy’s Kitchen. And taking pictures with Goofy!
Mommy: What do you think Noa liked the best at Disneyland?
Harper: She liked the ‘it’s a small world’ afterall ride! *cue Harper singing the song on repeat!
Mommy: Tell me about your first day there.
Harper: I got to watch cartoons in the hotel lobby!
Mommy: What character were you most happy about getting an autograph from?
Harper: Mickey Mouse!
Mommy: What is one thing you wish you did while you were at Disneyland?
Harper: Go on more rides! There were so many!!
Mommy: Star Wars or Princesses?
Harper: Star Wars!
Mommy: Pretzel or Churros?
Harper: Churros!
Mommy: What was your best memory from our trip?
Harper: Meeting Lilian and Mila (@lazymoms) and going on rides with them!
There you have it! Hope you enjoyed this quick read as much as I enjoyed interviewing my mini. Her answers were not revised, but if I could read between the lines, I would say from her answers that these are the three most important things to remember:
Stay on the resort! At the Grand California Hotel there is a tv for children to watch Disney cartoon while their parents check in. According to Harper, the slide at the pool is THE best too!
Meeting and taking pictures with the characters is key! Make reservations at those restaurants and make it a priority to meet the man of the hour, Mickey Mouse!
Plan your trip! Get organized so that you can make time for all the rides. Most importantly, go with people you have fun with - this will make the memories that much better!
Last, but not least … do not forget to eat some churros!
Psst … for all you Canadians planning a trip to Disneyland, be sure to take advantage of the Disneyland Resort Canadian Resident Ticket Offer, which ends April 11th. Have fun!
