by the creative Co.

Although there's no step-by-step guide for Instagram growth, there are practices that will help you reach a wider audience and win over new followers in a short period of time. These practices helped me grow the number of my Instagram followers organically from zero to 4,000 in 6 months!

  1. Start with the idea in mind

Finding your passion and knowing what your blog is going to be about should be your top priority. Is there something you already love? What are you really good at? This step will help you find your niche, set goals, implement strategies, and, eventually, differentiate from other bloggers.

  2. Post high-quality content pictures

Not only low quality or blurry content will be deprioritized, but such content badly affects your stats. Followers prefer high-quality, eye-catching visuals to poor-quality images. Therefore, plan your posts in advance, by using appropriate apps (more about them in the following post).

  3. Never forget about captions
Creative and entertaining captions help you differentiate and let followers understand your way of thinking, views, and behavior. Today, users gravitate towards authentic expression and diverse perspectives. By connecting with your followers, you create customer loyalty, which is crucial for instagram’s growth.

  4. Engage with other bloggers
One of the best ways to find and attract a new following is by seeking out your closest competitors’ Instagram accounts and engaging with their audiences. Try connecting with other bloggers who have a similar audience. Promote each other, comment posts, and organize Instagram Lives! This will help other users discover you.

  5. Tags & location
Always use tags and check your location, not only for posts but for stories as well! Hashtags and geotags are often overlooked but can give you a little edge when trying to reach more people. The key to expanding your following with hashtags is relevancy. Not every trending hashtag will draw attention to your brand. You want to ensure that the hashtags you use are a good match for both the style of your account and the purpose of your post.

Finally, as with any social network, the most successful strategy is to be authentic, social, and know what to post on Instagram. If you focus on engagement, not just followers, Instagram can be a great home for your products and brand!
