3 Bad Habits To Kick To The Curb For Ultimate Success

Whether we are talking about business, your fitness goals or even parenting, I think these 3 tips hold true. I hope that you can reference this post whenever you are feeling down about something or when you get too twisted in your own head. As a newbie to the entrepreneur world, I find it can be a little too easy to slide down that slippery slope of self-doubt. It’s also happened to me one too many times when it came to my own fitness journey. I’ve learned that if I kicked these three common habits to the curb I would be on a better road to success. Here are the 3 habits I bid farewell to this year … and hopefully for good!

Bad Habit #1: Comparing Your Chapter 1 To Someone Else’s Chapter 20

The comparison game will kill ya if you let it! Scrolling on social media doesn’t help either because as humans, we naturally look at what others are doing and saying. But at the end of the day, the only path that matters is the one you are on. Everyone started somewhere and sometimes, people even start over. What matters most is you’re starting and you’re doing it! If you ever find yourself in this moment, acknowledge, move on and refocus on your own goals.

Bad Habit #2: Losing Yourself in the Chaos

As Oscar Wilde’s quote goes, ‘Be Yourself; Everyone Else is Already Taken!’ I always come back to this quote because some days you can lose yourself and forget who you really are. Sounds silly, but with all the noise out there it can happen more often than you think. When you truly align with your authentic self and voice, you will shine and nothing else will matter. If it helps, write down your values and your goals so you see them daily. Plus success will feel so much sweeter when you know you achieved it just being yourself!

Bad Habit #3: Not Asking For Help

This habit can really make you or break you! Even when it comes to starting your fitness journey, you will realize just how much easier it is when you have a support system in place. It could be a workout buddy, hiring a coach or even asking your hubby to get on board with your plan. Ask. For. Help. With respect to business, it’s hard to wear all the hats. Hire help (even if it’s for a short period of time) or ask a friend to lend a hand here or there. The burnout is real, so don’t let it get to that point. You cannot pour from an empty cup!
